The strawberry dilemma

There are two letters 'r' in the word 'strawberry'.

This rather infamous AI glitch amplified at some point last year has recently resurfaced when I told a couple of my collaborators that that's what some leading LLMs have claimed.

And indeed, their jaws dropped when they decided to test it themselves and were presented with this slightly confusing alternative reality. 

The whole thing has been explored and explained extensively already, you can google that. But it's a reminder that:

• LLMs do still hallucinate and make mistakes

  
  

• It doesn't diminish their value

  
  

• Never remove the human from the workflow.
